When did the farm start?
[edit]Knott's is cerebrating their 100 year anniversary,[1][2][3][4] so I decided to see if we can replace "in the 1920s" with a more exact date. I found a primary source for December of 1920.[5] Does anyone have a reliable secondary source for this? --Guy Macon (talk) 15:19, 25 June 2021 (UTC)
- I found several sources that say Knott leased the property in 1920; none that include a specific month. Google Books lists several books about Knott's Berry Farm but they don't have any of the text online. I think it's likely that any source that says December 1920 would have gotten that information from them, and as it's a noncontentious minor fact, the primary source should be sufficient. - I have found a source that comes from an article about the history of the farm/theme park from the official company and it says that the farm was founded in December 1920

- Yes, but the source specifically says that Walter Knott moved in December 1920 and began farming berries, but he did open a roadside stand until 1923. The article also states that a permanent market and tea room opened in 1927. That year should be the start of the "park".—JlACEer (talk) 15:44, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Prescott, AZ...
[edit]...is emphatically NOT a ghost town. I doubt it ever was. It's NEAR famous ghost towns of Arizona, some of which have become tourist attractions, like Jerome, Arizona. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.53.241.145 (talk • contribs)
- You're right, I've removed it. Schazjmd (talk) 19:55, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
Hang time infinity coaster
[edit]This says it’s the only infinity coaster in the US. Adventureland in Des Moines Iowa has one as well 2600:1700:9700:2090:F9F1:14E:C96A:51BF (talk) 21:34, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
